Franklin Templeton appointed European Sales Director

Franklin Templeton took up management positions in global sales in October – also for the European business. Matt Harrison is the new head of distribution for Europe and the UK. The heads of sales in Europe and Great Britain responsible for each country will now report to him. Stefan Bauer has been holding this position in Germany and Austria since February 2020.

Matt Harrison: From Sydney to London

Harrison was previously co-head of Asia Pacific at Franklin Templeton, based in Sydney. He will move to London in the next few months and report to Adam Spector, Global Sales Director. Before joining Franklin Templeton in 2018, Harrison held senior positions at several companies, including Colonial First State, Commonwealth Bank and ING.

Franklin Templeton has offices in more than 30 countries and manages approximately $1.4 trillion in assets as of November 30, 2022. According to its own information, the investment company is one of the largest providers of alternative investments in the world with assets under management of approximately $260 billion.
