Pope Francis will speak at the COP28 global climate conference in Dubai on December 2. The Vatican published the program for the upcoming papal visit on Thursday.

Aside from his speech at the climate summit, only a few appointments are scheduled for the head of the Catholic Church. With your arrival in Dubai late on Friday evening, December 1st is just arrival day. On Saturday, after the Pope’s speech at the summit, there will be a number of bilateral meetings behind closed doors. Repeated calls for climate protection

Since the beginning of his term, the Pope has consistently called for greater climate protection. In a recently published warning message, he stressed the importance of holding the UN conference from November 30 to December 12.
