New hit on Steam: Remaster with impressive numbers of players

Roguelike fans may remember Danger of Rain. The game, developed by Hopoo Games and published by Chucklefish, was released on Steam in 2013 and has been turning heads ever since. Seven years later, Gearbox took over the publication of the sequel to “Danger of Rain”. It was rated better and received an approval rating of 96 percent. This is the description of the remaster of the 2D platformer on Steam, and the differences from the original mainly consist of improved graphics, an updated code base, new and improved survivors, customizable survivor skills, new items and monsters, and a new game mode.

Since its release on November 8th, Risk of Rain Returns has collected more than 4,000 user reviews on Steam, 86 percent of which are positive.
