Cologne – gamescom is going to be more agricultural this year! GIANTS Software, the well-known publisher and developer, has come up with something special to kick off the show: they bring a real John Deere tractor and bring with them loads of exciting content, enough to fill an impressive 500 square meter space.
First hands-on and early preview of Farming Simulator 22 Premium Edition
From August 23 to 27, all visitors to the trade fair will have the opportunity to experience the new premium version of Farming Simulator 22 for the first time. This version includes all the packs and expansions from the first two seasons – a special paradise for newcomers who want to immerse themselves in farming simulators.
For loyal fans, the Premium expansion, which is included in the Premium Edition and also available separately, introduces exciting innovations like new crops, brands, machines, and more. Both versions will be released on November 14th for PC and consoles.
Play, fun and John Deere
The GIANTS Software booth in Hall 6 is good for everyone – regardless of age or game preferences. At the various play stations, visitors can test out Farming Simulator 22 and the mobile version, Farming Simulator 23. A varied stage program offers information and entertainment, while everyone can prove their skills in the Bale Stacking Challenge. The highlight is the real John Deere 8R tractor of impressive size and power.
A special event is expected this weekend at Gamescom: The Farming Simulator League invites you to a professional tournament. In Season 5, the teams compete for the impressive prize money of €200,000.
The Oxbo Pack for Farming Simulator 22 from GIANTS Software has been announced
Collaboration between GIANTS Software and Oxbo brings innovations to digital agriculture. Coming to Farming Simulator 22 on September 19, the Oxbo Pack adds innovative harvesting and application mechanics from the product of the same name to the game. Pre-orders for the Oxbo Pack on PC and consoles are now open. This bundle will also be included in the premium version, which will be available in stores from November 14th.
Versatile harvesters and other equipment in the Oxbo Pack for Farming Simulator 22
GIANTS programs provide players with new equipment, especially for harvesting grapes, which is one of the newest major activities in Farming Simulator 22.
A special feature is the multifunctional grape harvester Oxbo 6030, which is equipped with adjustable harvesting and spraying units. In addition, the Oxbo AT4103 and AT5105 3 Wheel Tools are light, with sturdy front wheels and steerable rear axles that improve the distribution of manure and liquid manure.
For grassland enthusiasts, the Oxbo 2340, known for its triple belt function, is a highlight. With a width of 12 metres, this machine increases efficiency in forage production.

Farming Simulator 22 from GIANTS Software is available on PC, PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The premium version will be available in a boxed version for all the mentioned platforms from November 14th, while the premium version will also be available in a boxed version for PC. Pre-orders for the Premium Edition and Expansion are now open.
