Upper Rhine: Floods: This is what it looks like along the Rhine on November 15!

The level of the Rhine River rose rapidly and exceeded the nine-metre mark near Hauenstein on Wednesday. This is what it currently looks like along the High Rhine:

It appears that the level has now reached its peak. The rapid increase since Tuesday is clearly visible in the graph:

Whatash: During heavy rains like the ones that have been going on for the past few days, Wutach shows his true colours. Derived from the name “Raging Aach”, the water masses below Ijingen along the Wutachweg River rose to a narrow ledge.

Alp: The Elbe River has left its course several times in different places after heavy rains in the past few days. An interesting water landscape has been created in the Menzenschwander Valley. The city announced that the water level at the St. Blasian gauge approached the critical two-meter mark on Tuesday night (199.4 cm).
