At the World Mixed Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland, Chantal Schmid of St. Gallen won the bronze with Simon Hoyen and Yves Hess and skipped Orsey Hegner. In the decisive match for the medal, the Swiss team beat Sweden 6: 4.
