Basketball – Chemnitz:Points guard Wes Clark returns to Niners Chemnitz

Chemnitz (dpa) – German basketball club Niners Chemnitz has brought back American coach Wes Clark. According to a club statement on Tuesday, Clark has decided to stay in Chemnitz until the end of the current season. Clarke, who is 1.83 meters tall, already wore a Chemnitz jersey in the fall of 2020. The 27-year-old said, according to the announcement: “It was a very easy decision for me. I have a great relationship with coach Rodrigo Pastore and the Niners staff. I just want to help the team to the win”.
Chemnitz lost the first two games of the season in the German Basketball League. On Saturday (8:30 p.m.) the derby against Syntainics MBC approaches Weißenfels at BBL. Clark will get his first assignment there. Before that, the Niners will play Hapoel Galil Elion (Israel) in the European Football Championship on Wednesday (5:00 pm).
