After a fishing competition in Lake Erie, Ohio, prosecutors opened investigations against two of the participants. The two are said to have weighed on their trump fish with lead weights and parts of the other fish.

A video on Twitter shows Tournament Director Jason Fisher opening the American Walleye and discovering the ingredients. Several angry participants shouted at one of the suspects, accusing him of theft.
