Nearly 200,000 users are playing Modern Warfare 2 beta
Modern Warfare 2 beta has more players than titles like Destiny 2, GTA 5, Team Fortress 2, and even Cyberpunk 2077 movie. The latter has also been played by more and more users for quite some time, presumably due to the success of the Netflix series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
With the new record, Modern Warfare 2 has also managed to break player records for titles like Borderlands 2and FIFA 22 and Left 4 Dead 2. It’s an impressive achievement as this is only a beta version so far and only includes players on Steam. It will be interesting to see how many players the title can attract to the right version.
Unfortunately, as is now the case with Call of Duty titles, the Modern Warfare 2 beta is out Already infiltrated by cheaters. In response, console players started disabling the title’s cross-play feature to avoid being matched by PC players.
