Fulham ‘still keen’ on Scott McTominay’s January move and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Fulham are still interested in Scott McTominay and could approach the Manchester United midfielder in January, according to reports.

McTominay was one of several players United considered selling over the summer, following an influx of central midfielders and the integration of Kobe Maino into the first-team. West Ham saw a £30m bid rejected for the Scotland international, but an improved offer could have seen the midfielder leave.

Fulham showed interest in the 26-year-old and were on the verge of a move after agreeing a deal to sell Joao Palinha to Bayern Munich. But after failing to secure any replacement on deadline day, Marco Silva’s side canceled the move and the Portuguese midfielder has since signed a new long-term contract.

But according to Sky SportsBayern are still interested in El Henya and could launch another offer next January with Thomas Tuchel keen to strengthen the defensive midfield. Fulham have more time to sign a successor and McTominay remains top of the Cottagers list.

Elsewhere, a Spanish outlet Fishages Reports suggest that Sevilla are keeping a ‘watchful eye’ on Hannibal Mejbri ahead of a potential move.

The La Liga side are said to have made contact with the midfielder and his representatives over the summer, but were met with resistance from United who were not prepared to negotiate. The following weeks have shown that Hannibal looks set to play a role in Erik ten Hag’s plans, having started the last two matches against Burnley and Palace.
