More winter weather ahead

SUNDAY – As the clean-up from Blizzard Nemo continues, Weston and the region are preparing for another round of messy weather Monday, this time mostly in the form of sleet and freezing rain.

The National Weather Service, which has issued a freezing rain advisory for the area, is predicting a slight chance of snow and freezing rain after 3 AM. Areas of fog after midnight, with a low of around 25.

On Monday morning, the weather service says there will be snow and freezing rain likely before 9 AM, then rain and patchy fog. High temperatures will be near 45.

Weston schools have not yet posted any delays or cancellations for tomorrow, although several surrounding towns have. The governor has asked non-essential state employees to stay home Monday so crews can continue to clear roads.
