Weston Boy Scouts sell trees and wreaths

Weston Boy Scout Troop 788 will be setting up shop at the Onion Barn in Weston Center for its annual holiday evergreen fund-raiser.

Trees and wreaths are available by pre-ordering online at westontroop788.org. Individual Boy Scouts may also collect money for tree orders.

The Scouts will be at the Onion Barn with trees for pickup and sales of extra items for two weekends: Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2, and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. all four days.

The Boy Scouts are responsible for unloading the truck that delivers the trees and wreaths to the Onion Barn, sawing fresh cuts on all trees, helping customers load purchases onto their vehicles, and selling inventory at the barn.

The following items are available for purchase:

• Fraser fir tree (6-8 feet tall): $60

• Balsam tree (6-8 feet tall): $60

• Balsam tree (10-12 feet tall): $80

• Balsam tree (12-14 feet tall): $100

• 12-inch wreath: $10

• 16-inch wreath: $20

• 30-inch wreath: $40

Delivery to anywhere in Weston of trees six to eight feet tall is available for a $10 additional fee. Free delivery is an option for any tree over 10 feet tall.
