‘Clear the Shelters’ for dogs and cats

PAWS and NBC Connecticut are taking part in a nationwide initiative called Clear the Shelters.

On Aug. 15, the groups are hoping to help animal shelters across Connecticut place all of their dogs and cats with forever homes.

Many participating shelters are offering  reduced adoption fees on Aug 15 (see list HERE).

PAWS will offer a no fee adoption fee for those applicants that fill out an adoption contract on Aug. 15 and are approved for adoption of a pet at PAWS in Norwalk. No pets will leave the shelter that day unless the adoption application has been fully approved. Those approved applicants will pick up pets at a later date and have the adoption fee waived. Adoption fees normally range from $100-$210.

This promotion is for all pets at Paws  including cats, kittens, and dogs.
