Weston’s Hurlbutt offers bus rides for incoming students

SCH-busesAll kindergarten students entering Hurlbutt in August 2014 are invited to take a short school bus ride and visit the school.

Children attending Community Nursery School, Early Learning Center, Landmark Preschool, Norfield Nursery School, St. Francis of Assisi Preschool, Temple Israel Early Childhood Center, and the Westport/Weston Cooperative Nursery School are already scheduled for visits during their regular school hours on May 12, 15, or 20.

Children who do not attend one of the above preschools will also have an opportunity to visit Hurlbutt, on May 20 at 11 a.m. Children and parents will meet in the Learning Resource Center at Hurlbutt. At that time, children will be checked in so they can have a short tour then board a bus for their bus ride.

The children will be chaperoned by Meg Sullivan, incoming kindergarten school counselor, while parents remain at Hurlbutt to chat with Laura Kaddis, principal, and Kim Kus, assistant principal.
