Girls lacrosse: Weston reaches title game

FI-lacrosseThe Weston High girls varsity lacrosse team defeated Stratford 17-7 in the South-West Conference Division II semifinal game on Tuesday.

Lindsay Koch led Weston with five goals. She also had three assists.

 Morgan Moubayed (two assists) scored four and Stephanie Thomson (one assist) netted three.

Frances Holmes (five assists), scored two. Taylor Swanson (two assists), Danielle DeCanio and Ana Flooks (one assist) scored one apiece. Rhemi Toth added an assist.

Kristin Caolo made nine saves in goal for top-seeded Weston, which will play the winner of the Bethel/Lauralton Hall semifinal game for the championship on Thursday at home at 7 p.m.
