Weston Democrats begin search for candidates

Weston’s government is comprised of volunteers who devote their time and energies toward making Weston the excellent town residents enjoy living in, noted the Weston Democratic Town Committee. Every two years, the committee says, it derives a sense of pride to field “a slate of talented and dedicated individuals to fill our boards and commissions.”

In preparation, the Democratic Town Committee is now considering candidates to run in the Nov. 5 municipal election.

The committee is seeking Democrats interested in the following offices: first selectman, selectman, Board of Finance, Board of Education, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning & Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Zoning Board of Appeals alternate, and Police Commission.

For more information, contact Dana Levin at 203-222-4918 or DanaAynn@aol.com. Although incumbents may be seeking re-election, the committee invites all interested Democrats to step forward.

In addition, the committee seeks Democrats interested in appointment to the Building Board of Appeals. For these appointments, also contact Ms. Levin.
