Weston selectmen make appointments, accept resignation

The Weston Board of Selectmen made a number of appointments and accepted one resignation at a meeting on June 8.

The board unanimously approved the resignation of Mike Reilly from the Zoning Board of Appeals effective retroactively from May 1.

The board unanimously reappointed Don Kendall as C-Med Rep for a term expiring June 30, 2018.

The board unanimously reappointed William Lomas as Tree Warden. His term will expire June 30, 2018.

The board unanimously reappointed Rick Darling as Town Treasurer for a term to expire on June 30, 2019.

The board unanimously voted to reappoint Rabbi Levi Stone as Police Chaplain for a term to expire June 30, 2019.

The board unanimously reappointed Hillary Mandell to the Commission for the Arts for a term to expire June 30, 2019.

The board unanimously reappointed Cynny Williams to the Beautification Committee for a term to end June 30, 2021.

The board unanimously appointed Richard Wolf to the Commission on Aging, filling a vacancy left by Joy Peshkin. Wolf’s term expires Dec. 31, 2017.
