It will be anything but a ho-ho-hum evening at the Weston Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 15. Actor Charles Keating of Weston will be performing A Child’s Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas, and other selected holiday favorites, in the Community Room at the library at 7 p.m.

Mr. Keating is a British actor of stage and screen and is best known for his Emmy-award winning role as the villainous Carl Hutchins in the soap opera Another World.

Last year, he entertained Weston audiences with his lively personification of Ebenezer Scrooge in a staged reading of A Christmas Carol.

Library Director Karen Tatarka, said Mr. Keating may be doing a sampling from A Christmas Carol as well as The Night Before Christmas on Dec. 15.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $10 for children 12 and under. Desserts, wine, and hot cider will be served. Tickets are available at the library.

The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Weston Public Library, and proceeds will fund the library’s technology initiatives.
