Comfort station and shops open, free movies at high school

In a Code Red message the town has confirmed that the Comfort Station will be open at Weston High School today through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Weekend hours will be 8 to 4. Private showers, potable water, internet and charging stations are available. Bring your own shower supplies and water containers. Food will be available at the high school cafeteria for a nominal fee of $2 for breakfast and $5 for lunch and dinner.

Weston Town Hall is operating on a regular schedule. The Library will be open today and Friday from  9 to 5. The Senior Center will be open Thursday and Friday, from 9 to 3.

The shops at Weston Center are open for business.

Weston public schools will remain closed all week. The decision to open next week will be made on Friday.

Movies will be shown at Weston High School throughout the week. Thursday, Nov. 11 movie schedule:

1:00 p.m. The Sandlot: 1993, PG; The new kid in town tries to fit in with the neighborhood baseball gang. Enjoy their summer adventures with a junkyard dog, rival baseball team, and more.

4:00 p.m. E.T.: 1982, PG; The loveable alien phones home to Weston.

8:00 p.m. All the President’s Men: 1976, PG; Based on the story of two reporters covering the Watergate break-in.
