A Redding teen escaped injury when the car he was driving veered off Newtown Turnpike and landed between two trees.
According to Weston police, they responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, about a one-car crash on Newtown Turnpike.
Police say John Board, 18, of Redding, was headed north in a Subaru Legacy station wagon on Newtown Turnpike near Valley Forge Road when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed over into the southbound lane. The car then went off the road and landed between two trees.
While speed may have been a factor, police say no charges were filed and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
