The Weston High girls tennis team won its first two matches in the state Class S tournament on Tuesday at Granby High.
Weston defeated Old Lyme 4-3 in the qualifying round and then, as the ninth seed, upset eighth-seeded Granby Memorial i5-2 n the first round.
Weston will take on top-seeded Westonbrook on Wednesday on the latter’s home court.
