Weston police are blaming slippery road conditions for a two-vehicle crash on Georgetown Road at about 11 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, Nov. 26.

According to a post from Weston Police Chief John Troxell on the department’s Facebook page, a compact car and a van colided between Lagner Lane and Godfrey Road West. Both drivers were injured, but the injuries were not life threatening, Chief Troxell said.

“Please drive carefully if you have to be out on the roads during this storm. Conditions are expected to get worse,” the chief said.

Georgetown Road was closed while the accident was cleared.
