The Weston Trojan Youth Football & Cheerleading (WTYF&C) organization has opened registration for the fall 2014 season. Online registration is available at www.trojansfootball.org for flag football (first through fourth grade), tackle football (fifth through eight grade) and cheerleading (first through eighth grade).
The organization also announced its annual Trojan football spring clinics to be held on Saturdays, March 15 and 22, and has released a schedule of key dates.
“The Weston Trojan Youth Football & Cheerleading board is excited to open registration for the fall 2014 season,” said Tony DePasquale, WTYF&C board president. “The program’s focus on fun, safety, instruction and development continues to provide Weston’s kids with a wonderful football & cheerleading experience. This philosophy, along with the late August start and close proximity to the other member organizations has rejuvenated youth football and cheer in Weston and we anticipate strong growth for 2014.”
The 2014 season will mark Weston’s third year in the Fairfield County Football League (FCFL). Last season, more than 240 Weston students participated in the program.
Weston gold cheer squad (sixth through eighth grade) will also continue to compete in the American Youth Cheer (AYC) arena in 2014, in addition to traditional sideline cheering.
