It’s not quite Labor Day when political campaigns tend to begin to intensify, but that doesn’t mean stumping is totaling out of season with the election three months away.
Congressman Jim Himes will hold a series of events across the Fourth Congressional District Saturday, July 28, including a “Meet & Greet” scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. with First Selectman Gayle Weinstein at the Weston shopping center at 190 Weston Road.
“Residents will have the opportunity to meet Jim, ask about his views and vision for Southeastern Connecticut, and get energized for the elections just over three months away…” said campaign spokesperson Galen Alexander, in an e-mail to The Forum Friday morning.
