NEWS ALERT: Weston schools expected to open on time Monday

Weston Public SchoolsWeston Superintendent Colleen Palmer said she expects school to open as normal on Monday morning, despite an issue with the water system that caused an early dismissal of students Friday afternoon.

Dr. Palmer said it appears someone who was servicing the water system at the schools inadvertently injected too much air into the system, which pushed sediment up into the water, causing discoloration and a lack of water pressure. The system was flushed with chlorine and faucets ran over the weekend.

“We should be good to go on Monday,” Dr. Palmer said Sunday evening.
