At this year’s developer conference (SDC23), which Samsung held yesterday at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the South Korean manufacturer provided information about its latest platforms and developer tools, including SmartThings, Matter, Bixby, Tizen, and Samsung Health. On this occasion, the latest version of the internal user interface, also known as One UI 6.0, was officially announced.
The final version of One UI 6.0 is on the horizon
Samsung initially launched the Android 14-based beta of One UI 6.0 in August for the Galaxy S23 series, mid-range models Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G as well as older flagships from the Galaxy S21 series. I followed the chain.
The Galaxy S23 series has now received five large beta builds of One UI 6.0 in South Korea, indicating that the final version will be rolling out soon.
When can the Galaxy smartphone get the update
Last year, Samsung held its developer conference in the last week of October and started shipping the final One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 in November. Since the manufacturer has scheduled the SDC release in the first week of October this year, this year’s rollout could begin as early as this month.
The experience has shown that Galaxy smartphones already in the beta phase will first benefit from the previous launch, namely the high-end series of this year and previous years as well as the mid-range models mentioned above.
Since the beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 was slightly delayed due to the Chuseok (Chinese New Year) holiday, it is likely that the foldable devices will get a final update only after the high-end non-foldable phones UI 6.0. In the long term, more smartphones and tablets will receive the update. Sami lovers The following update schedule has been set for this (without guarantee).
