Crosnier worked for Amundi in London for 12 years. During his time in the UK, Crosnier led a team of experienced portfolio managers for Amundi’s global fixed income strategies. A spokesman for Amundi said he took up his new position on Sept. 1.

Crosnier started his career in 1989 as a future trader on Oddo. He joined Amundi in 1991 as a Euro Fixed Income Manager. In March 2014 he became the Portfolio Manager for Amundi’s Global Aggregate Strategy.

Gregoire Pesques (Citywire-Rating Plus) will replace Crosnier in Amundi UK and will report to the Head of Fixed Income, Amaury d’Orsay.

Beskes, with over 25 years of experience at Amundi, was previously the Head of the Global Credit Investment team in London and a member of the Global Fixed Income Architects Committee. Amundi stressed that there will be no change in the investment process or investment strategy.

“Laurent Crosnier will continue to play a key role within the fixed income team as he seeks to drive our global growth in FX,” said an Amundi spokesperson.
