Live Well workshop at Weston Senior Center

The Westport Weston Health District will offer Live Well, a free six week workshop at the Westport Center for Senior Activities on Thursdays, April 26 through May 31, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Live Well is underwritten by a preventive health grant from the CT Department of Public Health.

Live Well is facilitated by specially trained leaders, and provides opportunities for interaction and group problem solving related to common issues experienced by most people living with health concerns or conditions.

Each week, participants get the support they need to enhance their lives; find practical ways to deal with stress, anxiety, and pain; discover better nutrition and exercise choices; understand new treatment choices; and learn better ways to talk with doctors and family about health concerns.

For additional information or to register, call Monica Wheeler, RN, at the Westport Weston Health District at 203-227-9571, ext. 242. Space is limited and registration is required. Participants are requested to bring a light supper — dessert and beverages will be provided. You may also register at the Westport Center for Senior Activities at 203-341-5099.
