They argued and complained and in the end almost lost focus on what was happening on the pitch: Manchester City’s players had a lot of trouble with the Borussia Dortmund match for a long time. For guests from Germany, it was primarily a compliment to their own appearance. In the second group match of the Champions League, they managed to face the favorites from Manchester.

But it wasn’t enough for Dortmund to win a point when they played on Al Jazira. The BVB, who lost both games to Man City in the 2020/21 Champions League quarter-final, was forced to settle for the same result again after conceding two late goals.
