The scandalous politician must move to the British jungle camp

TV hammer in Great Britain: Nigel Farage could soon be seen in the British jungle camp. The politician confirmed the offer.

He is one of the country’s most famous faces and has been involved in British politics for decades. Former UKIP leader and Brexiteer Nigel Farage no longer holds an official position, but still doesn’t want to say goodbye to the big stage.

The right-wing populist has his own program on the GB News channel, which is considered the British version of the American Fox News channel. He can soon reach an audience of millions in front of television screens – in the jungle camp. Nigel Farage is set to be a strong candidate for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! – The original version of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” – Traded.

The twenty-third season begins on British television on November 19, and rumors about Farage’s participation have been circulating for weeks. The 59-year-old is said to have been at the top of the show’s creators’ wish list for years, and they would be willing to pay a lot for the TV coup. According to The Sun, Farage is currently in final negotiations with the broadcaster. His salary: one million British pounds (equivalent to more than 1.15 million euros).

Nigel Farage is “very seriously” considering the offer

In addition to money, there is another incentive for him to move to the jungle camp: “Ten million young people watch this show every evening. These are people who maybe don’t watch the news or don’t read newspapers. But they still care about their country,” the politician said. “If I do that, I can connect with that audience.”

Farage is known to not mince his words and has made scandalous headlines several times in the past with his statements. In Great Britain he is considered the man next door. He did not study and left school at the age of sixteen. During his time in office, he preferred to stand in bars, holding a cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other.

Farage’s political career began with the Conservative Conservative Party, which he joined as a schoolboy. In 1991, when he was 27, he left the party in protest against Prime Minister John Major’s pro-European course and founded a cross-party anti-federal organisation. The UK Independence Party emerged from this in 1993. The party’s political goal: to take Great Britain out of the European Union.

The breakthrough in the European elections came five years later. Farage was one of three UKIP members to enter the European Parliament. He was a member of this until the United Kingdom left the European Union in 2020. A year later he announced his resignation as leader of the Reform Party UK (formerly the Brexit Party).
