The NFL Finals is one of the biggest television events of the year in the United States. Appearance in the star and advertising scene is the highlight of a musical career.

LOS ANGELES — Rihanna is supposed to emulate stars like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, and Prince: The 34-year-old singer from Barbados is the star of the halftime show at the upcoming Super Bowl LVII in the NFL.

This was announced by the National Football Association on Sunday. The Super Bowl is scheduled to take place on February 12, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.

The Grammy Award winner posted a photo on Instagram showing her hand holding a soccer ball. Fans reacted enthusiastically, in just a few hours the post had already collected more than three million likes. The NFL posted the photo on Twitter.

Rapper Jay-Z, who co-produced the halftime show with his entertainment company Roc Nation, has acknowledged Rihanna’s self-made success as an artist and businesswoman. Jay-Z was born on the small island of Barbados, and Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z wrote in a statement that she is now considered one of the “greatest artists of all time”.

Music icon Rihanna (“Umbrella”) is also a major source of income with her cosmetics line (“Fenty Beauty”) and her lingerie brand. The singer and her boyfriend, American rapper Asap Rocky, became parents for the first time in May.
