Correctly assessing opportunities and risks is one of the greatest daily challenges that people face. This process becomes more complex in the digital age. In his contribution, risk researcher Gerd Geigrenzer mentioned how you can remain in control in an increasingly digital world.

In the lecture series “Science in the Göttingen Autumn of Literature” researchers from Germany and abroad provide answers to the pressing questions of our time. Gerd Geigrenzer will bring his new book “Click”.
Göttingen. Since 2007, the five Max Planck Institutes in Göttingen have formed the lecture series “Science in the Göttingen Autumn of Literature”. Also this year, eight internationally renowned researchers will report on new developments between Friday 28 October and Saturday 6 November.
At 7 p.m., guests will talk about topics from biology, psychology, medicine, and the social sciences. Time and time again, the current challenges of our time are discussed – for example in designing the energy transition, migration or environmental protection.
