Alvaro Morata was surprisingly tripped during the celebrations after reaching the Euro 2016 final in Munich. After the 2-1 win over France, the 31-year-old striker was accidentally kicked by a stewards’ player and suffered a minor injury.

“It’s the knee,” said team doctor Oscar Luis Celada. According to Spanish media, the blow may not have been serious.

The host chased a speeding driver, but he tripped and caused Morata to fall. The Atletico Madrid forward then turned to his team and took the winning photo with a pained look in his eyes.

Ramos suffered the same fate.

A similar scene had already occurred in the preliminary round after the match between Portugal and Turkey (3-0) in Dortmund. There, a steward, who wanted to protect star Cristiano Ronaldo from one of the many drivers on the pitch, sneaked up on striker Goncalo Ramos.

After his painful fall, Ramos quickly got up and gave the host a dirty look, then limped off the pitch.
