In addition to changing the official team name, Haas will also get a new livery for the 2023 season. Haas’ deal with MoneyGram, the global leader in peer-to-peer payments, comes after the team made it clear that as interest in the team and Formula 1 grew, they were looking for a strong business partner Extremely.

Previous title sponsorship deals with Rich Energy and Uralkali ended under controversial circumstances, and Haas was eager to wait for the right company to emerge. Commenting on the partnership, team owner Gene Haas said: “We are delighted to welcome an amazing brand like MoneyGram as our new sponsor.”

“Since our entry into the Formula 1 World Championship in 2016, the Haas F1 Team has built a reputation for strength, agility and flexibility. MoneyGram brings a similar campaign to the world of financial services and we are ready to work together to … maximize results on and off the track.”

Alex Holmes, Chairman and CEO of MoneyGram, says the company wants to use its entry into Formula 1 to support its fast-growing digital business: “We will continue to transform to meet the ever-changing financial needs of customers, and we are committed to making sure the world knows that.”
