Mette Marit continues to worry Norwegians. Her chronic lung disease is once again to blame. In an interview with Build.de Crown Prince Haakon openly expresses his concerns about his wife’s health in Sola: “Unfortunately, the doctors have put her on sick leave. We hope she will be back on her feet soon.”

His diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis was officially announced in October 2018 – and since then the 50-year-old’s health has been a recurring topic. The disease has long become a part of the daily life of a 50-year-old person. But there is hope: “She is also having good days and can still do a lot,” confirms the future king of Norway.
