Mere tradition is not enough

Mere tradition is not enough

DrThe constitutional and political reality of the British Isles is not only reflected in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. To a large extent, London is the strong factor – a city that, like any other European capital, is a truly cosmopolitan metropolis, as if separate from the UK and its engine. Anyone ruling from London from Great Britain should be clear about perspective accordingly. The northwest of the country is mentally as far away from the southeast as some of the empire’s former colonies.

Although the former mayor of London and London’s foreign secretary have now been forced to resign as prime minister, according to Christian Schnee in his public report, Boris and Brexit will not be separated. But Boris Johnson will leave behind a archetypal Southern political legacy that is at best alien to the rest. So the UK is clearly “much more”. But where is the core of the state of mind, and what drives Britons “really”? Schnee would like to answer this in thirty separate articles, each with its own bibliography. Therefore a complete bibliography is missing.
