- Kanye West once again caused outrage with new statements.
- In an interview with far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, he said “I love Hitler” and “I love the Nazis”.

West: Hitler also did good things
“I also see good things in Hitler,” said the musician and fashion designer, who renamed himself Ye and covered his entire face with a black mask during the interview. The 45-year-old, who had previously been discredited due to anti-Semitic statements, added: “This man (…) invented the Autobahns and the microphone that I used as a musician.” “You can’t say out loud that this person has ever done a good thing, and I don’t take it anymore.”
When Jones responded that the Nazis did “really bad things”, West replied, “But they also did good things. We have to stop demonizing the Nazis all the time. (…) I love the Nazis.” A well-known anti-Semitism and Holocaust denier, Nick Fuentes was also present for the interview on the Jones Infowars platform, where West also expressed his admiration for sin, pornography, and the Devil. West was with him last week at the Ex Chief
The rapper’s remarks instantly caused outrage
The rapper’s remarks immediately caused outrage. The Republican Jewish Coalition, which sees itself as a bridge between the Republican Party and the Jewish community, called West a “vile, vile fanatic who targeted the Jewish community with Nazi-style threats and slander”. West, Fuentes, and Jones formed “a sickening triumvirate of conspiracy theorists, Holocaust deniers, and anti-Semites”.
Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Michael Herzog, said he was “disgusted” by the West’s remarks. “At a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise, it is troubling that such vile rhetoric should be given a pulpit and legitimized.”
West’s statements were also met with outrage in the Internet – in the midst of this, Parler announced the end of his planned sale to the American rapper. This decision was actually made by mutual agreement “in mid-November,” explained parent company Parler Technologies.
West and Parler announced in mid-October that the rapper wanted to buy the right-wing internet network founded in 2018. This has become particularly popular with Trump supporters. West justified his intention to buy by the fact that he wanted to stand up for “free speech” — and it appears he was also looking for a new platform after deleting his Instagram and Twitter posts.
Many partners have terminated cooperation with Kanye
Because of West’s anti-Semitic statements, several companies have already terminated their cooperation with the 45-year-old. Among them are the German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas, the fashion chain Gap and the luxury brand Balenciaga.
West, who has been married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian for years, recently caused a stir when he dined with Fuentes at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Trump came under fire from within his own ranks for the confrontation.
Former Vice President Mike Pence, for example, said what Trump did was “wrong.” “I think he should apologize.” Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said there was “no place for anti-Semitism and racism” in the party. Anyone who meets anti-Semites and racists “is unlikely to ever be elected President of the United States.”
Trump announced in mid-November that he wants to run again in the 2024 presidential election. According to his own statements, Kanye West also wants to run for office.
