A new format for Frank Rosen in his regular co-anchor Cabel Einz: With colleagues Alexander Komptner and Ali Gungormus, the TV chef travels across the United States on “Roadtrip America – Three Top Chefs on Four Wheels.”
Frank Rosen, 56, Alexander Kuptner, 39, and Ali Gungurmus, 46, are traveling across the United States for Cabell Eyens. Roadtrip America – Three Top Chefs on Four Wheels premieres February 9, 2023. In four episodes, TV chefs embark on a culinary journey every Thursday at 8:15 p.m.
The Big Three (kabel eins) travel 4,500 miles across the United States in a tiny motorhome. It goes from west to east, from California to Arizona, Nevada, and Texas to Florida. Along the way, the chefs not only experience the highlights of cooking, but also have to tackle “sports adventures” and other challenges.
Liaise with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay as a role model
“Roadtrip America – Three Top Chefs on Four Wheels” is an adaptation of the British format “Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip”. Since 2018, the trio has been traveling around the world around the star British chef Gordon Ramsay (“In Teufels Küche”, 56), also known in this country. In the first season, Ramsay and company travel to different places. In the second round, they traveled through the United States, and in the third round, through Greece.
Frank Rosen is the housemate of Cabell Innes. Since 2009, he has been helping struggling catering companies with his “Rosins Restaurants”, among others. In 2014 he hosted “In Teufels Küche” based on the British show with Gordon Ramsay.
Alexander Kemptner has been a juror on “Taste” alongside Frank Rosen since 2020. In 2022, the Austrian has two shows of his own on Saturday 1 with “Double Cooks Better” and “Fridge Open”. Ali Güngörmüs is a regular guest on many cooking shows such as “Die Küchenschlacht”. In “Potgeldjäger”, the original Turk is Frank Rosen’s successor as juror.
