Developers Conference is October 11th!

Meta announced yesterday that the Connect Developer Conference will take place on October 11, 2022. Meta Connect is a virtual event dedicated to building the metaverse and the future of augmented and virtual reality.

Announcing the Meta Connect Oculus Quest Pro!

We’ll probably get a first look at the next Meta VR headset; The alleged Project Cambria VR headset. While Meta didn’t explicitly say that the Oculus Quest Pro would be special, it was largely implied.

At Connect 2021, Meta promised to launch the Cambria in 2022. That means there are only a few months left until release. Combined with this year’s show’s promise to give visitors a glimpse into the near and far future of metaverses, we expect the Cambria to appear.

Mark Zuckerberg also posted a photo where we see him wearing a VR headset. Most likely it is the Cambria project and therefore Oculus Quest Pro.

No matter when the VR headset will be available, but next year there will definitely be a battle between the giants. Meta, Apple, Sony, and ByteDance are all working on a next-level VR headset and we’d be at a loss to choose.

I don’t know about you, but for example I suffer from motion sickness. I quickly get sick with VR glasses. I hope Meta & Co can tackle this issue. Because I will definitely get a VR headset. What about you? Write to me in the comments below.
