For the first time since 1986, Canada – Our second official team in Qatar – Back in the FIFA World Cup. While Canadians dominate ice hockey, their national sport, and are practically born on their feet, soccer is not very popular in the True North. Football shirts with short sleeves. At every normal World Cup, wearing thick-knit, long-sleeved hockey jerseys would be a no-go—especially for people who are tried and tested in the cold, like the Canadians. But with the World Cup taking place in Qatar and therefore having to be pushed back to November and December, long-sleeved standbys may be a smart option for public viewing at home for once.

Just accept the referee’s decision? Not into football. It is important to send a signal after each whistle and attack the referee with at least three players. The so-called package configuration is part of good form.
