AVM network specialist unleashes FRITZ! Repeater 3000 AX on clients. Now you can find a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 repeater in the usual outlets. You now get up to 4200Mbit/s in the air, at least that’s theoretically possible.

With a new repeater model, AVM equips the repeater with the latest Wi-Fi technology. This allows you to add a suitable repeater to the FRITZ! Current Box.
You’ll find two 2.4GHz and two 5GHz radio units in the new 3000 AX. The additional 5GHz band is used exclusively for communication between the router, the repeater, and (if any) other repeaters. This means that the two main bands are fully available for the use of individual devices in the network.
With the new repeater, you can expand the FRITZ Mesh network and increase its performance.
In Germany, the FRITZ is sold out! Repeater 3000 AX at 189 euros. It remains to be seen when and how he will come to Switzerland. I’m excited and of course will keep you posted.
