The Swiss national team celebrates its second victory in the second match of the U-20 World Cup in Canada. After the opening win against Finland, Marco Bayer’s team also won against Latvia. The Swiss prevail 3: 2 on penalties.
The two points are a princely bonus for Switzerland, because for a long time it seemed that they would go empty-handed against the still winless Latvians. So the Swiss team’s prospects at the top of Group B in early qualification for the quarter-finals are still good. The duel with the United States on Thursday.
