The Friends of the Weston Public Library invite Westonites to bring children to the library for the second annual Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday, Feb. 2.

The Friends of the Weston Public Library will host events throughout the day to celebrate this international event. More than 200 libraries across the state and around the world will participate in this event, which is designed to highlight the many services libraries have to offer children.

From 10 to noon, enter a raffle for a Friends of the Weston Public Library tote bag filled with goodies and receive special bookmarks, stickers, and more.

At 3, join friends and neighbors for a high-energy, interactive musical experience for the whole family with Ray and Jay’s Music for Everyone, featuring Music for Aardvarks.

Stop by the library anytime to sign up for a library card (children 5 and older) and check out the library’s collection of books, DVDs, magazines, and more for the whole family.

For more information on this event and additional programs and services, visit or call 203-222-2665.
