Westport Weston nursery school families donate gifts

Westport Weston Cooperative Nursery School preschoolers, from left, Beckett Hein of Weston, Bryn Morris and Dhilan Lowman of Westport, and Grayson Aspen of Weston participated in WWCNS’s Giving Tree program for Caroline House, an educational center for women and preschool children in Bridgeport.

The Westport Weston Cooperative Nursery School  preschoolers and their families participated in  WWCNS’s holiday Giving Tree.

The Giving Tree program was established at the co-op more than 20 years ago. Co-op families take a mitten from the tree and purchase the gift that is written on the mitten.

The gifts are donated to families at the Bridgeport-based Caroline House, an educational center for immigrant women and preschool children to which the gifts are donated.

The nursery school is a private, non-profit, non-denominational early childhood education program which embraces the child-centered approach.
