Fairfield County Chorale hosts ‘Summer Sings’

Beginning Aug. 6, on Mondays in August at 8 p.m., The Fairfield County Chorale will present its popular series of Summer Sings at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport.

This season features the following works:

Aug. 6

Brahms, Requiem, conducted by David Connell, artist-in-residence, Norfield Congregational Church.

Aug. 13

Mozart, Requiem, conducted by Patrick Taylor, director of choirs at Greenwich High School.

Aug. 20

Bernstein, Chichester Psalms, and Fauré, Requiem, conducted by Paul Mueller, director, Greenwich Choral Society.

Aug. 27

Mendelssohn, Elijah, conducted by Stephen Somary, founder, artistic director, and principal conductor of The Mendelssohn Project with Anne Somary.
