The Weston Forum is a weekly newspaper founded in 1970. In 2005, we launched the first news and information website focusing entirely on Weston. Our focus in both print and online continues to be local news; we cover all aspects of Weston life, from town government and school news, to sports coverage, social and community events, business updates and feature stories.
The Forum is part of Hersam Acorn Newspapers, a traditional and new media firm, which includes printing facilities and local papers, specialty publications and websites in more than 20 communities in southwestern Connecticut, Lewisboro, N.Y., and Vermont. This gives our readers easy access to regional news and events as well as exposure to advertisers from across the region.

Kim Donnelly, Editor
Kim Donnelly has been the editor of The Weston Forum since 2004. She attended the University of New Hampshire and received a degree in English from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore. After owning and operating with her husband a restaurant on the Oregon coast for more than 10 years, she began her career in journalism with Hersam Acorn Newspapers in 1999. Since then, Ms. Donnelly has received press association awards for editorial writing, local election coverage, transportation and educational reporting, page design and headline writing. Patricia Gay, Assistant Editor
Assistant Editor Patricia Gay has been with The Weston Forum since 2005. Originally from West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, she has a bachelor’s degree in English from Boston University, and is the former First Selectman of New Fairfield, Connecticut. A diverse journalist, she has won numerous New England Newspaper Press Association awards in areas such as health, the environment, social issues, education, as well as election coverage with The Forum staff. Rocco Valluzzo, Sports Editor
Rocco Valluzzo has been sports editor of The Weston Forum since 1995. He graduated from Fairfield University with degrees in English and politics and was previously sports editor of the Bethel Home News. He has been sports editor of The Redding Pilot since 1990 and The Easton Courier since 2008, both sister papers of The Forum.
