The Westport Weston Cooperative Nursery School (WWCNS) held its annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, March 23, in the parking lot of Coleytown Elementary School in Westport.

Kids were able to “test drive” a Jeep, feel like a police officer on a motorcycle (with helmet of course), honk the horns of a variety of construction vehicles, and sit in the driver’s seat of all these vehicles.

The event, which benefits the WWCNS, also featured the “Roaming Railroad,” a working Thomas the Train look-alike that took everyone for a ride.

Founded in 1955, the Westport Weston Cooperative Nursery School is a private, nonprofit, nondenominational early childhood education program that embraces the child-centered approach.
