Celebrate the Arts, a fund-raising dinner and show to benefit WestonArts, will be held Saturday, April 27, from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Grand Parish Hall at Weston’s St. Francis Church. WestonArts helps promote and develop the arts in Weston.
The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, dinner (BYO wine, beer or soda), vendors, live music, visual arts exhibits, dance performances, and a 50/50 raffle.
Tickets are $45 for the general public, $25 for seniors 65 and older. Information is at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Vendors include Stella & Dot Jewelry, Sweet Design Desserts by Carly, and Anita Designs Homegoods.
Included in the musical lineup are Chris Coogan and his professional jazz trio, Emily Roberts Hanon, Kristan Hahn and Adam Hill, Matthew Gurren, Fran Danter, Barbara Schottenfeld and Paul Bogaev, Bruce Taylor, and Patricia and Dan Gerroll.
Many of the works of art on display will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds coming back to WestonArts.
Local artist Abigail Duncan is coordinating the visual artists and sculptors. Professional ballet dancer Autumn Mathisen is coordinating some Weston ballet students and will choreograph an original dance number for the evening.
