Lester Nagy of Weston died March 5, 2013, at his home. He was 86.
Born in Taconic, N.Y., on Jan. 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Szabo Nagy and Stephen Nagy, Sr.
A U.S. Marine veteran of WWII, Mr. Nagy was a self employed master carpenter for more than 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Piroska Nagy; two daughters, Cindy and her husband Kenny Carden, and Lorie Waite; three brothers, George Nagy, and Benedict Nagy and Anthony Nagy, both of Weston; grandchildren, Jessie Grater and Eric Weeks; and a great grandchild, Mason. He is also survived by a stepson Ferenc Nagy and four step grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Camille Muro, and by two sisters and five brothers.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church St. Georgetown. Burial is at the convenience of the family in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
