For residents of Fairfield County and beyond, the Friends of the Weston Senior Activities Center is holding the Weston Retirement Life Styles Fair Saturday, March 23, from 10:30 to 2:30 at Norfield Church Parish Hall, 64 Norfield Road.
According to fair organizers, information is key to planning for a safe and comfortable retirement for oneself or loved ones.
Exhibitors from across the region will help answer such questions as “Can I afford retirement? Where will I retire? At home or elsewhere? Who will take care of me? What are my choices in assisted living or home care? How will I pay my medical expenses? How do I get around when I cannot drive? What about my physical safety at home? What help is there locally or from the state?”
A series of mini-lectures will provide more in-depth information.
In addition to the Friends of the Weston Senior Activities Center, the event is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Weston, the Norfield Congregational Church of Weston, and the Fairfield County Bank.
Admission is free. A flat screen TV will be a door prize.
